Q: What is your COVID policy?

A: We will observe all COVID restrictions, if any, required by UCI. At present, there are no restrictions, but the situation could change by the date of the workshop. We will keep you abreast of what you need to know.

 

Q: Where is this workshop being held?

Q: How’s the parking?

A: The Beckman Center has its own parking area adjacent to the building.  Parking at the Beckman Center is free of charge.

Q: Will my licensing agency accept these credits?

A: We are approved by the American Psychological Association (APA).

Psychologists: The Foundation for the Contemporary Family is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Foundation for the Contemporary Family maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Courses approved by an APA-approved sponsor are accepted for MCEP credit by the Board of Psychology in California.


MFT/LCSW/LPCC: The Board of Behavioral Science (BBS) has designated approval agencies from which licensees can receive continuing education hours. The Foundation for the Contemporary Family’s Anatomy of Intimacy workshop series is approved by one of these designated approval agencies (APA).

 

Q: How many CE Credits can I earn?

​A: You will receive 6.5 CE hours.

Q: How much does the workshop cost?

A: The Early Registration rate is $165. Regular Registration is $185 
Student/intern rate of $149 is available by contacting us.

Students and interns are encouraged to apply for a Scholarship!

Q: How do I register?

A: You can register online, or by phone.  For online registration, please to the Register page on this site OR Select Register in the left margin on this website and that will take you directly to Online Registration.  To register by phone, please call 949.464.0131.

Q: What about lunch?

A: Coffee & tea will be provided all day through the afternoon break.  A delicious, complimentary lunch will be served on site. Beckman Center does not allow us to provide snacks, so please come prepared.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Refunds, minus a $25 cancellation fee, must be requested by 5 pm October 11th, 2024. If you cancel after the deadline and before the date of the workshop, you will receive a credit for a future workshop. Cancellations must be received in writing (email is okay).

Q: When will I receive my certificate?

A: Certificates will be issued at sign-out at the end of each day.

Q: Do you inform us of any Commercial Support or Conflict of Interest?
A:
The Foundation for the Contemporary Family is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization. We do not receive commercial support and there are no financial conflicts of interest involved in our workshop. Instructors might, if directly applicable to the topic, mention their books or links to further training in their presentations.

Q: I have two licenses. Can I get two certificates?

A: If you are licensed by more than one agency, please let us know your license number for each when you register.  You can submit a copy of your certificate to each agency.
